We went to Craft Lake City's DIY Festival this last weekend to support our friends, Jewell Loveless and Desarae Lee.
It was great fun, and it was cool to see all the talent and creativity that is happening in Salt Lake City.
However, something was missing. One thing we were searching for but just didn't see. And because of this, we make a bold prediction of what the next big DIY theme will be for 2014.
Yes, similar to the whole put-a-bird-on-it movement, we believe that next year, everyone will put a goat on it.
It may have something to do with the fact that we love goats and asked almost every crafty person, artist, and vendor why they didn't have a single goat on any of their wares. Many of them said they had only thought about it and that they'd have to really consider it in their next design now.

What would you like to see as the next big DIY trend animal?
Our prediction for the 2015 DIY "it" animal: the 3-toed sloth. I think Kristen Bell is on to something.
