Happy Pioneer Day!

I wanted to share a picture of my mom and dad with some other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from Hong Kong at the first temple trip to Provo, Utah.

I love this picture, because my dad  and short mom are in the back, just grinning away and so happy to be there and President Spencer W. Kimball in the front. 

I don't have the usual "pioneer" heritage that most Utahns have, which is totally fine because I've got this amazing pioneer stock in my blood!
